Gracie McElroy
Executive Director
Gracie McElroy is a thoughtful young leader motivated by the idea that making a community better, makes a region better, makes a nation better, and ultimately, makes the world better. She has worked with and for various NGOs and nonprofits in the US, Europe, and India.
As Executive Director of Families4Families, she oversees the orchestration of impactful initiatives, manages relationships with F4F’s Board of Directors, nonprofit partners, donors, and grantors, and works closely with student leaders and volunteers. As F4F continues to expand, Gracie is spearheading outreach efforts to school districts across the United States, ensuring Families4Families' mission reaches every corner of the country.
Beyond the office, Gracie enjoys being outside, reading memoirs, and exploring unique corners of the world. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Sewanee: The University of The South where she studied English and Economics.

Pate Falter
Program Manager
Pate Falter is a driven young professional committed to making a positive impact in communities through education and the nonprofit sector. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Pate holds degrees in Political Science and Human Development and Family Science, with a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
During her academic career, Pate immersed herself in service-oriented internships and held significant leadership roles. She served on the Board and Executive Leadership team of the Carolina Union Activities Board as the Vice President of Programming and led as President of the Carolina Student Council on Family Relations, demonstrating a dedication to community engagement and family services. Currently, Pate serves on the board of a DMV-based nonprofit, City Girls DC, as the Director of Operations.
Pate is excited to contribute to the powerful mission of Families4Families. She is passionate about the community-driven approach of F4F and looks forward to developing relationships with everyone involved, especially nonprofit partners and student leaders. She hopes to further the growth and reach of F4F to foster youth leadership development and alleviate food insecurity in as many communities as possible.

Brooke Moran
Community Outreach Coordinator
Brooke Moran is a devoted community member who specializes in facilitating new relationships through community outreach and engagement. As a mother of two, she encourages her children to learn at a young age how they can impact their community through acts of kindness, just as she was taught.
Brooke holds a Bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University where she played four years of Varsity Women’s Soccer. She continued her education and earned her M.B.A. at American University, focused on nonprofit marketing.
As the Community Outreach Coordinator, Brooke communicates with community members around the country and encourages them to start F4F chapters with their elementary and middle school-aged kids, whether it’s a neighborhood club or one at their school.
Brooke, who is based in Providence, Rhode Island, launched the first F4F chapter in the state in November of 2023. She quickly encouraged her kids and their friends and families to get involved. This initiative spread, resulting in the creation of one of the first elementary F4F clubs in the country. Brooke now co-leads both the Providence Neighborhood Club and Lincoln School Club alongside her two kids, neighbors Bridget Eisenhart and Rhonda McBurney, and their families.
Outside of community building, Brooke enjoys visiting her family in North Carolina, beaching in the summer, skiing in the winter, and spending time with her two kids and husband, Mike.
Iman Grant
Community Outreach Coordinator
Iman is a passionate young professional dedicated to improving outcomes in education, especially for marginalized communities. She has worked in several non-profits, with their focuses spanning from financial aid preparedness to student success. She is based in the Atlanta area.
She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she majored in African American & Diaspora Studies and minored in Human & Organizational Development. She is also a holder of a Master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. During her academic career, Iman served as the Program Director of The Afterschool Program, a student-led service organization hoping to bridge the literacy gaps for underserved Nashville youth.
Outside of work and service, Iman is a major music lover, attending concerts and playing the viola. She enjoys cooking and baking for her family, especially her niece and nephew. She also enjoys traveling, particularly to beach destinations.
Vivian Buddy
2025 Summer Intern
Vivian Buddy is a driven college student passionate about youth-led advocacy and systemic change. She is a rising senior at American University studying International Relations with a concentration in Peace, Global Security, and Conflict Resolution and a minor in Studio Art. She brings strong leadership experience from her role as Vice President of The Women’s Network and her previous position as Head of Marketing at AU, where she led campus-wide engagement and outreach campaigns.
Vivian's academic and professional journey is characterized by her dedication to making a positive impact in the world. Her research on conflict mediation and community development in Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as her semester at Sciences Po in Paris, focusing on public policy and global justice, have equipped her with the skills and knowledge to address pressing issues. Vivian is particularly passionate about tackling food insecurity and is eager to contribute her communication, research, and marketing skills to the F4F mission of empowering communities through service.
Bergin Russell
2025 Summer Intern
Bergin Russell is a bright, passionate, and empathetic rising senior at Santa Clara University. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Bergin ventured out to California to study Communication with an emphasis on Journalism as well as a minor in Political Science. Throughout her academic career, Bergin has focused on leadership from the classroom to clubs including being co-president of the Connelly School of the Holy Child’s Families4Families student club her junior and senior years of high school.
Being back at F4F is a full circle moment for Bergin Russell. Her work with the organization in high school kicked off a love for service and a passion for addressing food insecurity in her community. During her time as an intern with F4F, Bergin hopes to draw from her own experience as a student leader to create plans and gather advice so that current and future club presidents feel as supported as possible to make a direct impact on their communities.
In her free time this summer, Bergin can be found going on walks around her neighborhood, watching TV with her mother, or calling her friends on the phone to update them about her day. She enjoys nothing more than a day spent with her loved ones relaxing and swapping stories.
