Leader Badges

Leader Badges are digital badges distributed by Certifier that credential students for completing a set of tasks and requirements. These badges are ranked, include data on skills learned, and are visible on the recipients’ LinkedIn page when accepted.

The badges are ranked; Platinum being the most rigorous, Gold is a step down, and Bronze being the last rank. Any member can apply as long as they complete the requirements.

We start processing badges at the beginning of June of the current school year. As long as you submit an application before then, you are on track to receiving a badge.

We have a list of tasks to choose from, and a certain amount depending on the badge rank. If you have trouble completing a task, don’t hesitate to reach out to admin@families4familiesdmv.org.

No, Certifier is set up so that recipients don’t need to sign in to accept badges. This is also a free credential.

We automate badges to be sent via email, which provides instructions on how to accept the badge and link it on your LinkedIn profile. More information will be in the Badge Resources above.

The F4F Leader Badges are based on the National Association of Colleges and Employers’ Career Readiness Framework, which defines key professional competencies essential for career development. The main goal for the F4FLB initiative is to prepare students for professional networking, skill showcasing, and resume building.
