OUR MISSION
Families4Families empowers student leaders to address food insecurity and enact positive change in their local communities. F4F’s unique model elevates the power of young leaders and grassroots organizations by:
Educating students about issues faced by their community,
Coaching them in ways to use our F4F Playbook to host collection events in support of local community partners and
Developing professional skills such as logistics management, communication and leadership.
With 110 student-led clubs across the United States, F4F’s Student Leaders and Volunteers are building meaningful relationships with community-driven organizations across the country.
Our vision is that this model will inspire the next generation of change-makers, philanthropists, and social entrepreneurs.

ONE MILLION MEALS DELIVERED TO FAMILIES IN NEED
Our national network of student leaders and nonprofit partners have worked together to provide OVER ONE MILLION MEALS to families in need.
While thousands of young volunteers have learned the power of community through consistent, meaningful action, thousands of families have received fresh groceries and other essentials that move the needle toward equity for all, regardless of zip code.
We now set our sights on our 2026 goals: 200 student clubs and one million meals delivered every year!
HOW IT WORKS
1
A group of Middle and/or High School students create an F4F Student Club at their school or in their neighborhood.
2
The F4F Student Club is paired with a carefully vetted local nonprofit organization.
3
The partner organization identifies families that are in need of groceries and other essential items.
4
The Student Club collects groceries (Bags of Basics) and other essential items (Extras).
5
The F4F Student Club delivers the Bags of Basics and Extras throughout the school year or the summer.
Students Making an Impact
“The development of our connection with our nonprofit partner Life Pieces to Masterpieces has been a beautiful thing to watch. It’s a partnership I will keep trying to develop and really cherish for the rest of my life. It’s one based not on who has more and who has less, but more on a common love of each other. These food drops where we’re all together playing basketball, we’re playing games, we’re talking, we’re having fun, really exemplify what we sought to accomplish.”
- James Marshall, F4F Co-Founder and Student Leader, Maret School
